Thanksgiving!

These are pictures of the boys in the age order. It is kind of fun seeing a pitcture like this. There are a couple of tall ones and then a whole bunch of small boys.

This is a picture of everyone that was at my parents house for Thanksgiving. Only a few people were missing.

Thanksgiving

I know I am still trying to catch up, but I can't forget to post our Thanksgiving pictures. We did two Thanksgiving dinners this year on two different days. It was great. The Perry Thanksgiving was the Saturday before Thanksgiving. And we ate with the Hincha's on Thanksgiving day. It was a lot of fun. I liked doing Thanksgiving this way. We didn't feel like we had to hurry and rush to go to the next person house. We also got to sit and visit with everyone instead of leaving.

Anyway, for the Perry Thanksgiving, my Dad's brother and sister's family come to Globe every year. It is great to see all of them. This is the one time of year that we get to see my Dad's family. I am grateful we have kept this tradition with them. Before we ate dinner we went up to the Elementary school to see the new huge playground equipment that the school got. My dad volunteer to help put it together. It was so fun to watch the kids play on it. We also took some pictures of all the boys together. My parents have 11 grandsons. It is crazy. We have 5 boys, John had 3 boys, Jason has 2, and Vern has one. However, Vern and Becca just found out that they are having a girl in March. My boys told Vern that they were ruining it. It will be fun to have a girl around.

The picture to the left, the boys go: Front- Kyson, Riley, Maddux--Trey, Ridge, Caeson--Parker, Conner, Cody-- Ryan, Tevin
These are my boys.

These are the boys being silly.

He's so SEXY!!!

We took Christmas pictures this last weekend at my Aunt Karen's house. She has the perfect yard for taking pictures. I take a lot of pictures at her house. Anyway, After I took our Christmas pictures, I took some pictures of Maddux, because I don't have any recent pictures of him. I told Maddux to stand in front of this gate. He told me this was going to be his "Sexy picture". So I have to post his sexy picture. Isn't he so cute? I don't know about sexy.

Is it almost Christmas?

I am so far behind in my blogging. I have had to step away from my computer for a while. It seems to suck me in sometimes and I can't get anything else done. So now that it is almost Chistmas, I thought I would post my boys Halloween pictures.

For the whole month of October, I had been asking my boys what they wanted to be for halloween. I told them they could be anything that we could find a costume for at home. So, they all wanted to be a Star Wars guy. Caeson and Maddux were going to be Yoda. Tevin and Parker were going to be someone else. I thought great, so I only had to come up with lightsabers and robes. I was just greatful that nobody wanted to be R2D2. So I gathered the costumes together. I only had 2 Mickey Mouse lightsaber and they didn't think would be very cool . So, I went to Walmart to get Star Wars lightsabers for them. Then they were all happy.
However, as you can see from the pictures Tevin and Maddux changed their mind. Tevin decided to be a soccer player. And Maddux had been so excited about being Yoda for a week before. That is all that he could talk about. However, he did not want to dress up. That morning we were going to Caeson's school. I told Maddux "let's go get your Yoda costume on." He said he didn't want to be Yoda. So I let it go. Then we were going to Parker's school for the Costume Parade. I again told Maddux, "Let's go get your costume on!". He said his didn't want to put it on. I asked him if he wanted to just put makeup on. He said "No". I then asked him if he wanted to just spike up his hair. He said "No, I just want to be Maddux!!!" And Maddux he was.

Sylvia, my sister, came down from Mesa that day. I was excited for her to come down. Ryan and Sylvia dressed up as ninjas. Don't they look scary.

Halloween evening we went to the school carnival. It was alot of fun. They had tons of activities for they kids to do. Sylvia also took the boys trick-or-treating to a couple of our neighbors.

Moving Right Along!

Rich went up to our cabin on his way to Jacob's lake to go hunting. They have stained the back side of the cabin. It is a dark brown. He said it looks good. I did not want a stain that had a lot of orange in it. He said it doesn't look orange at all. Which I was happy about. The painters still have to stain the front of the cabin. The builders have been working on the front porch, so the painter haven't been able to stain it yet. This week the builder is putting all the trim up in the inside of the cabin, so they can start painting the inside. I can't wait until the put the cabinets are in. I think the cabinets are going to be really pretty. They were working on the rock while Rich was there. He said it is going to look really pretty when the rock work is done. We can't wait to go up there next summer.

Cotton Pickin Time!

I love the Fall in "the" (for those of you who went to conference you will know why I emphasize "the") Gila Valley. It is harvest time! Here in the Valley cotton is grown every where. In March the farmers start planting the cotton seeds. They water them and take care of their crops all summer long. The cotton plants grow big until September. In September, the farmers quit watering the cotton. It slowly begins to die. When the cotton plants die, the cotton can really be seen. Therefore, the fields look like they have popcorn everywhere. It is so cool looking. Then they farmer harvest the cotton. The whole process is very fasinating to me. Here are some pictures of the cotton fields. Also there is a picture of a "Cotton Flower" that Maddux picked for me.

Safford All Class Reunion

On October 18th, was the Safford All-Class reunion. My Grandma Perry was involved in this. My grandma turned 91 on September 15th. She graduated in 1935. My dad found an old car that was built around the same time that she graduated from high school. This picture is my Dad and Grandma riding down Main Street in Safford during the parade. Four of my boys had to ride in the back seat. they thought it was a lot of fun. I love this picture, because Maddux is waving out the back window of the car. It was so cute.

Skiing anyone!

Last week Rich went to get Ryan some new shoes. Ryan told Rich, "Dad, I need size 14." Rich told Ryan "No way". Ryan said "No, Dad really!". Rich said "come on Ryan". so Ryan tried on the 14's. Rich checked them to see of they fit. And they DID! We think that it is unbelieveable that he wears such a big shoe. Above is a picture of Maddux's shoe next to Ryan's new shoe.

Ryan has grown so much the last 6 months. He is 5 feet 9 1/2 inches. He has grown about 5 inches in the last 6 months. He has grown so fast that he has stretch marks. His goal is to be taller than Degen (my brother) when he gets hoome from his mission in May. So we will have to see.

Time for the Park

Here is more of what we have been doing. My brother Jason, has been working here in Pima the last couple of weeks. So he has been staying with us. Last week his boys and Aubrie came down during their Fall break. All the boys had fun playing together. On day we went to the park. They had fun playing ball, riding scooters, and playing on the playground. We didn't stay there too long, two of the boys pooped their pants. But it was fun while it lasted.

The picture above is of Tevin and Maddux. The picture below is Conner.

Maddux!

Isn't he so cute?!!! Maddux is so fun. He loves to talk. He talks really well and he likes to talk all of the time. We got a new puppy almost a year ago. And he still tells everyone, "I got a new puppy!". Now, everyone has heard him say that so many times that every ones response is, "Is your puppies name Ali!" Maddux says, "Yes, Ali girl!".

Maddux has the cutest smile. He can light up a whole room with his smile. His latest thing is: When he does something wrong he says, "Oops sorry Mom, my dad!" instead on my bad. We are so glad he is a part of our family.

I am a little behind on my blogging. We have had some very busy weeks. But to get you updated on what we have been doing: These pictures were taken when we went to Cluff Ponds, near Pima. We took our dogs over there to let them play in the water. It was fun for everyone. The boys would throw a bottle in the water for the dogs to go get. However, only Ali would go get it. Titan would not even put a paw in the water. He is such a chicken of the water. It is pretty funny. Then when Ali gets close to the shore Titan would go over to Ali and get the water bottle and bring it to the boys as if he were to one bring in the prize. Crazy dog.
The picture above is one of the pond and the mountain behind it. Isn't it so pretty.
After we let the dogs play in the water we went to a place where the boys rode their motercycle and Quad. We well had a great time. We need to do that more often.

This is a picture of Parker showing off his motercycle clothes.

Her is Ali bring in the bottle. By the way, we have two Chocolate Labs. A boy named, Titan. And a girl named Ali.
